Bosaltermore - Black Accessory Cord halter with braided trim of purple and raspberry paracord.  Poly/Nylon reins in raspberry with black, purple and raspberry tassels.  Two styles of reins shown:  10' Loop or 22' Mecate. Custom ordered color combination.

I braid paracord or leather lace onto the noseband of regular halters to create "bosalters".  This is a true braided trim (not just cord wrapped around the noseband) and is not only decorative but creates a bosal-type nosepiece.  Tie end has braided button too.  Combine a bosalter with reins to create a "bosaltermore".

Regular Halter - Double Braid Polyester in red.

All halters are hand tied using one continuous length of rope with true double overhand knots and the authentic fiador knot at the chin.  Tie end is whipped with waxed polyester cord and dipped in rope sealant for a durable non-metal finish.

Halters can be ordered in standard sizes of XS (pony, yearling); S (Arab, small horse); Ave. (QH type); L (Warmblood) or measure your horse for a custom fit.  See Measuring Guide and Size Chart page.

14' Lead Rope with Eye Spliced Loop or Button End  - Samson Stable Braid in White with blue tracer.  (Many famous trainers use Samson Stable Braid for leads and reins.)

All lead lines have a latigo leather popper on the end and your choice of halter attachment: Eye-spliced Loop - for a non-metal connection; Button end - easily removable non-metal connection; Snap - see choices below.  Standard lengths of 12', 14' and 22' but you can custom order any length.

Custom Bridle              Regular Bridle

Buckaroo Bridles - Made like the buckaroos made them in the old west - except I make mine with double braid rope instead of braided leather.  Completely adjustable with no hardware to break and no leather to maintain.  Attach to any bit.  Can be customized with fancy pineapple knots and cowboy knots to make it a truly unique item.  Can purchase, reins, headstalls and browbands separately.  (More pictures and details coming soon - look for a new "Buckaroo Bridle" Page!)

Snaps - Brass Twist Snap, Brass Bull Snap, Brass Bolt Snap, Nickel-plated Ring/Clip Set.  Can be attached with eye spliced loop or permanently spliced in for slimmer profile.

Knotted V Browband  - Paracord.   Available with or without the fly fringe.   Attaches to halters or bridles as decorative and functional browband - great for drill teams.

Loop Reins with Slobber Straps - Samson Stable Braid - Custom ordered 11' length with ends finished with leather lace trim instead of poppers or tassels.  Easy-Change Slobber straps in brown - no need to re-thread reins when changing bridles or bits!

Rope Slobber Straps - No trouble threading reins with large knots.  Sliding ring knot locks reins in place.  Attaches to most bits so you can use your mecate reins with shanks bits, too!

Extra Knots Halter - Samson Halter Cord.  (Clinton Anderson uses Samson Halter Cord for his extra knots halters.)

Loop Reins with water straps and snaps.  Available in any rope type, in any length, with or without snaps.  Brass or Nickel-plated scissor snaps.

Sidepull with adjustable chinstrap - Double Braid Polyester in green.

I tie rings into the nose knots and add an adjustable chin strap to make a halter or bosalter into a sidepull.  Attach reins for bitless riding or remove chin strap to use as a regular halter.

4' Training Stick - fiberglass rod, golf grip, leather tab or rope tab.

6' Strings - Available in Double Braid Polyester or Samson Stable Braid.  Eye spliced loop and popper.

Haltermore - Regular halter with Double Eye Spliced reins.  Double Braid Polyester in blue. (Close-up is 24C halter and SSB reins.)

Bitless Bridle - Double Braid Polyester in black.  Rein straps and/or adjustable chinstrap may be removed for use as a sidepull or regular halter.
