Northern Illinois Outlaws is a Cowboy Mounted Shooting Club.  Mel & Tina Hass are president and secretary of the club and are also great customers of mine!  Many of the club members are customers as well.  I have been to their events and they are great fun to watch!  It's a different kind of horse show that is very exciting!  The authentic "Old West" dress these guys and gals wear make it even more interesting.  It's a great way to see "real cowboys" in action!

Deb Roetzer is one of my best customers and she has a very interesting business.  She plans and organizes Horse Playdays - at your place or hers. Ann Van Dyke is another of my best customers.  She is in the San Antonio, Texas area and has 3 interesting businesses with the website links posted above.  The Yellow Rose Carriage Company provides horse-drawn carriage tours of the San Antonio area and also has "Cinderella Carriages" for weddings and other special occasions.  Her Brave Horse website has information about clinics and workshops for trail obstacle training and desensitizing.  Trail rides and other activities are available at Salado Creek Ranch.  If you live in or have a vacation planned for the San Antonio area, please check out Ann's websites!

White Pines Ranch - This is where I work part time!  

It's a great place to work - I love the horses, I love the people, I love the job!  I work on the Barn Crew as a Trail Guide and do a bit of training as well.

It's a great place to visit!  They have a wonderful Summer Camp Program for youth ages 8 - 15, an Outdoor Education program during the school year, and a Weekend Program for groups on most weekends except during Summer Camp - great for scouts earning badges!  

Guided trail rides are also available for the public - call to make a reservation as scheduling will vary.

Conover Square is a shopping village in a 100+ year old piano factory in Oregon, Illinois that my husband, Lou, owns and manages.  Please visit the website to learn more about the wide variety of unique, interesting shops and restaurants plus a model train club, art club and museum.  Y Knot Rope Tack products are available for purchase at Crafter's Corner on the main level.
